The last few weeks were amazing, i did SO many things that i'm affraid to forget them... Like going out, having drinks, Versailles, Museums, Exhibitions, Gaybars etc.
The last days I get to think about my last days here, I have to pack and say goodbye to all of the lovely people I met here. Thats gonna be hard... so for my friends in Paris; Thank you for the greatest time! Lets keep the memories alive...
There it is... the last month in Paris, time flies! And I really don't want to go home! Now I know that I have a few weeks left here I'm really focust on all the small things here in Paris. The songs they play on TV, the movies in the theaters, all things that will remind me to my wonderfull time here in Paris.
Gamze and I made a promise that we do as much as we can this last month and live life to the fullest!
This life in Paris is like a dream to me and I don't want to wake up.
The last two weeks were amazing! I did a lot of things such as going to the Swanlake, Cirque Du Soleil, going out to the trendy club TittyTwister with my lovely friends and looooots more! And the sun is really trying to give us her vitamin D, me like!
Another happy movie, with great thanks to Paris...
What is it
about dreams that we want to chase them? In your mind they look like heaven, but what happens when your dream comes true? Does
it become standard?
Well these
are some questions I’ve asked myself back in Holland. My stay in Paris was my
dream come true, I finally could be a real Parisienne. And now I think I can
say that I am. Maybe some French people will laugh at me and tell me I’m far from
a Parisienne but yeah, what the ***
So now I’m
really used to live here, everything slowly becomes normal, but it is
ABSOLUTELY not normal! So every day I keep saying to myself that I’m verrrry
lucky to live here and experience so many cool things!
Set dreams
to carry you and don’t let them become a standard thing…
The last two weeks were lovely! We did a lot of fun things such as going to the movies on Champs Élysées, a big birthday party, dining at Brasserie Flo and I even got myself in the giant wheel ( Grande Roue) at place de la Concorde for a fantastic view.
Again, every day is a blessing and that sounds sooo cliché but I’m really happy that I live here in Paris.
Well, hello
again. Took me about two weeks to create a new movie because the internet is
not working. It maybe sound a bit exaggerated but I really felt kinda lost
without internet. Every day when we got home we loved to hear the beeping
sounds of our Iphone’s. But last two weeks it was very quiet when we got home…
It got me
thinking about some other things, off course not to have contact with the ones
I love from home makes me miss them a lot. And I realized I was really addicted
to internet. I always want to be online and know what everyone is doing. So
these two weeks I tried to get rid of my addiction. Because I had to. There was
no other option but to deal with it. So I tried to focus on the other things.
Well, a BIG
telephone-bill later I know that my addiction cannot be healed. So with every
minute my Wifi is working I quickly check facebook, instagram, watsapp and my
email.
So enough
about my internet addiction. My other addiction I have developed in Paris is my
addiction to Beautiful. Everything here is beautiful, the shops, the architecture, the fashion, the art. I feel
like all this beauty feeds me in some way.
So I tried
to capture some beauty and put it in a movie…
We had an amazing week with our classmates.
We saw some nice paintings and artwork from Dali at the Dali Museum in
Montmartre. Of all the museums I’ve been these two weeks, I think this one got
me the most. I love how Dali makes these
weird sculptures with a really great thought behind it.
On Thursday
we had a blast at the party at club 67 near Champs Elyseés. We danced the night
away with our classmates from Mexico, Germany and Spain. And we had a few
Tequilla which explains the good conversations with the cabdriver haha!
This
weekend was also great. My boyfriend visited me and we went to Saint-Germain de
Prés for a lunch at Les Deux Magots. Then on Sunday we wanted to go to the
Catacombe of Paris but when we arrived at the metro station we found ourselves standing
right in the middle of the Gay marriage strike. And with like 50.000 people
around us we couldn’t go to the Catacombe. So we went for a nice lunch and the
amazing view on Tour Montparnasse.
This week there was not a second my face had not a smile on
it…
Last week my Also-Paris –Lover Gamze and I arrived at our
little apartment in Paris. My dream started! Living in Paris is sooo cool!
Every day I’m thanking myself for doing this haha ;)
Arriving at our apartment at Rue des Batignolles in the 17th
arrondissement with 2 cars fully stuffed with clothes and shoes we did’t knew
what to expect because we did’nt saw our apartment in real life you know.
Well, it's 100 percent better than expected and we feel
really at home! After unpacking and a lot of cleaning, we sat at our sofa bed,
totally exhausted but with a big smile on our face; this is our home in Paris!
So this week we needed to go to school directly. We’ve met
some very nice people from different nationalities such as Mexico, Germany,
Denmark and Sweden. So this week we did a LOT!
Sunday after cleaning we went to the Arc de Triomphe, not
that we needed to see it but hey, we’re in Paris right? So we went for a little
walk to Avenue Montaigne and did a little windowshopping at Chanel, Louis
Vuitton, Cloé… What else is there to do on a Sundaynight right?
Then we had some schooldays. Friday we had a great day, we
have made ourselves an engagement to eat a nice pastry at the best patisseries
of Paris every week. So thats what we did, at Fauchon we bought a 7 euro pastry
and it was DIVINE! Next week at Ladureé ;)
At fridaynight we went to the Louvre, I went there before
but this was also a kind of school assignment so why not go there again? This
was my favorite night this week, cause when we were looking at the different
paintings my eye catched some snowflakes…
It was so magical! I coulnd’t stop smiling and i was so
happy! It was like -5 that night but this winterwonderland warmed me…
Ow and Saturday, we went to Museé d’ Orsay. Loved the Monet,
van Gogh and Rodin pieces!
Wow, what a week… Paris je t’aime.
Below our film of the first week! Have fun wathing it :)
